Riyadh, (SONNA) – The Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E Abdullahi Bidhan met with officials from the OPEC Fund for International Development on the sidelines of the COP16 Riyadh conference and discussed the collaboration for Somalia’s Clean Cooking Programs.
The meeting also discussed the importance of having a pilot project with scale opportunities in the future to address key areas including clean cooking infrastructure and community empowerment.
This initiative is part of Somalia’s broader debt relief efforts and will drive sustainable development.
