Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Salah Ahmed Jama, visited the headquarters of the Somali National News Agency (SONNA) in the capital, Mogadishu. During his visit, he met with SONNA Director Ismail Mukhtar Omar, who briefed him on the agency’s operations and stressed the crucial role of media in enhancing government performance.
Following his stop at SONNA, the Deputy Prime Minister proceeded to the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism, touring various departments to assess ongoing activities and strengthen service delivery.
This visit is part of his series of inspections of major government institutions, which have recently included the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, and the Central Bank of Somalia.
