Mogadishu(SONNA)-Defense Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Abdukadir Mohamed Nur confirmed that Ethiopian forces have been excluded to take part in the new AU Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM).
“We can confirm that Ethiopian forces will not be part of the new AU Mission which is to launch operation in the new year, 2025, because Ethiopia violated our territorial integrity and sovereignty, the list of the troop-contributing countries to be announced soon”, he said.
