Danab Commandos and Jubbaland Forces Overwhelm Khawarij in Jubbaland

The combined efforts of the government forces and the Jubbaland regional troops have led to a significant victory in the ongoing conflict in Jubbaland. The operation, spearheaded by the elite Danab commando forces, particularly the 162nd unit, alongside the Darawish brigade of the Jubbaland state force, has resulted in the heavy defeat of the Khawarij factions.

The coordinated assault took place along the strategic locations by the Jubba River, including Jiimay, Bangeni, and Bandar Jadid. The operation has been reported to have inflicted substantial casualties on the Khawarij, with over 30 individuals, comprising both leaders and militia members, being killed. Additionally, several wounded combatants have been taken prisoner, further crippling the operational capabilities of the insurgent group.

As the operation continues, government forces are advancing into the dense tropical regions along the river, pursuing the remnants of the terrorist groups. The situation remains fluid, and the authorities are maintaining pressure to ensure a complete eradication of the threat posed by these groups.

For more detailed updates and information on the ongoing operation, the public is advised to follow the official reports from the SONNA News Agency.
