Mogadishu(SONNA)-Minister of health of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Dr. Fawziya Abikar Nor on Thursday met Chinese Ambassador to Somalia, H.E. Qin Jian at the embassy and discussed China’s support to Somalia specially getting Covid-19 Vaccine, SONNA reported.
Dr. Fawziya thanked how China stands side by side with support to Somalia.
”China is supporting the Ministry of Health in finding solution to the COVID-19 pandemic and how the Vaccine would come to the country”, She said.
She added that the Sinovac vaccine will help Somalia against COVID-19, and expressed her gratitude to Ambassador and the Goverment of China.
China is providing free vaccines to 53 countries including Somalia according to the Chinese Ambassador to Somalia.
