Mogadishu (SONNA) – At least Four people have been killed and 10 others injured after a suicide bomber wearing an explosive vest blew himself up at a tea shop near the Gen. Dhagabadan, Ex. Wadajir District Candy Camp in Banadir region on Tuesday evening.
The blast injured 14 people and killed four civilians, Somali police spokesman Col. Abdifatah Adan confirmed to SONNA.
Al-Shabab has claimed responsibility for the bombing at the tea shop outside Gen. Dhagabadan’s military training camp and it is the second time they attacked this area using a bomber wearing explosive vest.
