Somalia’s New Information Minister Inspects Ministry Operations Following Assumption of Office
Mogadishu(SONNA)-Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdulfatah Kasim Mohamud on Wednesday, conducted an inspection visit to various departments and divisions of the ministry to assess ongoing operations and public services.
During the visit, the Minister met with ministry staff and was briefed by department directors on their responsibilities and daily activities. He encouraged employees to strengthen their efforts in delivering effective national services.
Speaking to the media after the inspection, the Minister emphasized the ministry’s critical role in advancing the media sector, unifying government messaging, raising public awareness, preserving Somali culture, and promoting tourism development across the country.
The inspection came a day after the Minister officially assumed office, signaling the beginning of efforts to enhance the ministry’s performance and public engagement. Share
