SNA kills 9 Al-Shabab Militants in Bal’ad district

Mogadishu (SONNA): The Somali National Army (SNA) has killed at least 9 Al-Shabab terrorists in a planned ambush in parts of Bal'ad district in Middle Shabelle region this morning, SONNA reported. Somali National Army Commander confirmed to SONNA that they achieved huge victory against the terrorist group, eradicating Al-Shabab militants from bal'ad district. Galmudug votes as all eleven districts open on time

The Chairman of the National Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission opened polling in Dhusamareb at seven this morning, in the second one person one vote election held in a Somali federal member state. Among those queuing are residents of districts liberated from Al-Shabaab within the past two years.
