Puntland Forces eliminate 20 Daesh militants in a major counterterrorism operation — SONNA
Bosaso, (SONNA) - Puntland Defense Forces have carried out a significant counterterrorism operation against Daesh militants, eliminating 20 terrorists, including four foreign nationals, one of whom was confirmed to be an Ethiopian woman. The operation, named Hillaac, was aimed to eradicate extremist groups from the region and has been ongoing with success.According to senior military officials leading the operation, Puntland forces have also seized strategic militant bases located in the Calmiskaad mountain range, within the Balli-dhidin area of Bari region.

2.Wacariyaad Base
3.Salnafeed Base
4.Kaadilay Base
The operation is progressing rapidly, with troops inflicting heavy losses on Daesh terrorists in recent days. Security forces are now pursuing the remnant militants who fled the area in disarray.
