Prime Minister Hamza Receives New Djiboutian Ambassador to Somalia

Mogadishu(SONNA)-Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre on Wednesday received the new Ambassador of the Republic of Djibouti to Somalia, Osman Dubbad Sugulle, at his office in Mogadishu. The ambassador recently presented his credentials to the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.

The meeting focused on strengthening the longstanding relations and strategic cooperation between Somalia and Djibouti.

Ambassador Osman Dubbad Sugulle conveyed greetings and a message from the President of the Republic of Djibouti, H.E. Ismail Omar Guelleh, emphasizing the importance of further enhancing the brotherly ties and cooperation between the two neighboring countries.

Prime Minister Hamza congratulated the new ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in carrying out his diplomatic responsibilities. He also underlined the importance of reinforcing bilateral cooperation in the areas of politics, security, and economic development.

The Prime Minister also extended congratulations to Djibouti’s newly appointed Prime Minister, Mr. Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed, wishing him success and strength in fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to him once again.
