Top National Exam Students Taken to Jowhar for Recreational Visit

Jowhar, (SONNA) — Students who secured top positions in Somalia’s national secondary school examinations were taken on an educational and recreational visit to Jowhar, the capital of Hirshabelle State, on Sunday.

The visit fulfilled a commitment made by Banaadir Regional Police Division Commander Col. Mahdi Omar Mumin, who had previously pledged to take the high-achieving students on visits to different parts of the country.

The delegation arriving in Jowhar included Director of Somali National Television Mohamedkaafi Sheikh Abukar, journalists and prominent social media personalities.

The delegation was welcomed by officials from Hirshabelle State, led by the State’s Minister of Education.
