Support Rally Held Ahead of Galmudug's Local Council Elections

Dhusamareb(SONNA)-A public rally in support of JSP political party's Galmudug leadership candidate, Liban Ahmed Hassan, was held in Dhuusamareeb as Galmudug prepares for its upcoming electoral process.

The event brought together members of Somalia's Federal Parliament, federal and state ministers, Galmudug officials, and representatives from different sectors of society.

The rally comes after the electoral commission announced that local council elections will be held on July 25, with the election of Galmudug's leadership scheduled for August. Speakers described the one-person, one-vote elections as a significant milestone for democratic governance and urged eligible voters to participate actively in the electoral process.
