State Minister for Foreign Affairs Arrives in Mauritania on Official Visit

Nouakchott(SONNA)-The State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Ali Mohamed Omar (Ali Balad), has arrived in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania on an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two brotherly countries.

Upon his arrival at Nouakchott International Airport, the State Minister was received by Mauritania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad, H.E. Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, and Somalia’s non-resident Ambassador to Mauritania, H.E. Yusuf Jeego.

The visit marks the first official ministerial-level visit by a Somali delegation to Nouakchott and reflects the growing partnership between Somalia and Mauritania.
