State Minister and Permanent Secretary Receive World Bank Country Manager

Mogadishu(SONNA)-The State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Ali Mohamed Omar, and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, H.E. Hamza Adan Haadow, today received H.E. Mr. Hideki Matsunaga, Country Manager of the World Bank Group for Somalia, and his delegation for discussions on strengthening cooperation between Somalia and the World Bank Group.

The discussions focused on enhancing collaboration in support of Somalia's development priorities, including institutional cooperation, regional integration, and economic diplomacy. The Ministry expressed appreciation for the World Bank Group's longstanding partnership and support for Somalia's development and institutional reforms.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in support of Somalia's sustainable development, economic growth, and long-term prosperity.
