Speaker of the Parliament Meets Somali Graduates of Turkish Universities

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur Jama, held a meeting with the Türkiye Alumni Association, which brings together Somali students who studied in Türkiye, including the Speaker himself.

The Türkiye Alumni Association congratulated Speaker Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur Jama on his election as Speaker of the House of the People, wishing him success and ease from Allah SWT in carrying out the heavy responsibility entrusted to him, leading the House of the People and fulfilling the national duties before him.

For his part, Speaker Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur Jama thanked members of the Türkiye Alumni Association for their congratulations and support, commending their efforts to advance their knowledge and strengthen their cooperation.

The Speaker also urged members of the Türkiye Alumni Association to use the knowledge, experience and skills they gained in Türkiye to contribute to the country’s reconstruction, the development of government institutions and Somalia’s overall progress.
