Speaker of the Parliament Meets Somali EALA Lawmakers in Arusha

Arusha, (SONNA) — The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur (Jama), held a meeting with Somali lawmakers representing the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) in the city of Arusha, Tanzania.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Somalia's EALA representatives and the Somali Parliament, coordinating legislative matters, and accelerating Somalia's participation in the East African Community integration process.

The Speaker commended the lawmakers for representing Somalia with integrity and honor, and for working to protect and enhance the country's image, the Somali people, and to showcase the progress and opportunities in Somalia.
