Speaker of the Parliament Attends Opening of 153rd IPU Assembly in Arusha

Arusha, (SONNA) — The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur (Jama), attended the opening of the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), which was officially opened in the city of Arusha, Tanzania, by the Prime Minister of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Mwigulu Lameck Nchemba.

The IPU Assembly, which will run for five days, will focus on this year's general theme of developing good governance, parliamentary cooperation, and empowering communities, through inclusive participation, trust, and equal opportunities.
