Speaker of the House Meets Qatar Ambassador to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur (Jaamac), held a productive meeting with Qatar’s Ambassador to Somalia, Dr. Abdullah bin Salem Al-Nuaimi, at his office.

The Speaker and the Qatari Ambassador discussed strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries across various areas.

H.E. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur thanked the State of Qatar for its continued support and solidarity with the Somali Government and people, particularly its support for safeguarding Somalia’s national unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Speaker also commended Qatar’s impactful development projects in Somalia, which contribute to improving essential services for the Somali people and supporting the country’s overall development.
