Southwest State Leader Visits SNA 60th Division Headquarters in Baidoa

BAIDOA, (SONNA) — The Leader of Southwest State, H.E. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe, on Sunday paid a working visit to the headquarters of the Somali National Army’s 60th Division in Baidoa.

H.E. Sheikh Adan Madobe was warmly received by officers of the 60th Division, led by its commander, Colonel Isaaq Berdaale.

During the visit, the Southwest State leader held a meeting with 60th Division officers and received a briefing on the security situation, military activities and plans to strengthen security in Baidoa and across Southwest State.

H.E. Sheikh Adan Madobe commended the officers and soldiers of the 60th Division for their efforts in carrying out their national duties and protecting the security and safety of civilians.

The Southwest State leader was accompanied by the Minister of Security, the Director General of the Presidency and officers from the Somali Armed Forces.
