Southwest State Leader Sheikh Aden Madobe Appoints New Cabinet
Baidoa(SONNA)-The Leader of Southwest State of Somalia, Sheikh Aden Mohamed Nur "Madobe", on Friday evening announced the appointment of a new cabinet, four days after his inauguration on July 6.
According to a presidential decree issued by the Southwest State leadership, the newly appointed cabinet comprises 26 ministers, three state ministers, and 22 deputy ministers, who will oversee the administration's various government institutions.
The cabinet appointments follow President Madobe's inauguration ceremony held on July 6 in Baidoa, which was attended by senior officials from the Federal Government of Somalia. The event brought together President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, and leaders of the Federal Member States, underscoring broad support for the new Southwest State administration.
The formation of the cabinet marks a significant step in establishing the new administration and is expected to accelerate the implementation of the government's priorities, including governance, security, service delivery, and development across Southwest State.
