South West State Leader Meets Head of EUCAP Somalia

Mogadishu (SONNA) – South West State leader, H.E. Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madoobe), who is on a working visit to Mogadishu, met with Kęstutis Lančinskas, Head of the European Union Capacity Building Mission in Somalia (EUCAP Somalia).

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the South West State administration and the European Union, particularly in security, strengthening security institutions, and EU support for development and stability across South West State.

The leader thanked the European Union for its continued support to Somalia and emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation in security, development, and public services.

For his part, the Head of EUCAP Somalia reaffirmed the European Union’s commitment to continued support and cooperation with Somali institutions to strengthen the capacity of security institutions and promote stability across the country.

The South West State President was accompanied by the State’s Minister of Security, the Director General of the Presidency, and officials from his office.
