Somalia’s Ambassador to Egypt Receives Northeastern State Leader in Cairo

Cairo, (SONNA) — The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, H.E. Ali Abdi Aware, received the leader of Somalia’s Northeastern State, H.E. Abdiqadir Ahmed Aw-Ali (Firdhiye), who is visiting Egypt.

Ambassador Aware briefed H.E. Firdhiye on the Embassy’s diplomatic engagements with the Arab League and the development of bilateral relations between Somalia and Egypt, which have advanced to a strategic partnership.

H.E. Firdhiye commended the Ambassador and Embassy staff for their commitment to implementing Somalia’s foreign policy, with the protection of Somalia’s unity and sovereignty as a key priority.
