Somalia's Embassy in Morocco Welcomes New Chargé d’Affaires Following Leadership Handover

Rabat(SONNA)-A formal handover ceremony was held today at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Somalia in Rabat, during which the outgoing Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Salah Ali Ibrahim (Catoosh), officially handed over the responsibilities of the Embassy to the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. and First Counsellor, Mr. Abdulfatah Said Aynab.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Salah expressed his sincere appreciation to all diplomats and members of the Embassy staff for their dedicated cooperation and support throughout his tenure. He wished the new Chargé d’Affaires a.i. and the entire Embassy team continued success and encouraged them to further strengthen their commitment to serving the nation.

For his part, the Chargé d’Affaires a.i. expressed his gratitude to the outgoing Ambassador for his dedicated service, leadership, and achievements during his tenure. He wished Ambassador Salah continued success in his future endeavors and reaffirmed his commitment to building upon the progress made, in close cooperation with the Embassy's diplomats and staff, to effectively fulfill the Embassy's responsibilities.
