Somalia, Uganda Speakers Discuss Strengthening Parliamentary Cooperation

ARUSHA, (SONNA) — The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, H.E. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, held talks with Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda, Jacob M. Oboth, in Arusha, Tanzania.

The two Speakers exchanged views on strengthening parliamentary cooperation, sharing experiences and enhancing institutional knowledge.

They also discussed ways to strengthen parliamentary collaboration and advance cooperation on peace, stability and East African integration, with a focus on promoting the shared interests of the region’s peoples.
