Somalia, Türkiye Speakers Discuss Parliamentary Cooperation in Arusha

Arusha, Tanzania(SONNA)-Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia,Hon. Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur (Jama), held talks with a delegation from the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye on the sidelines of the 153rd Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Conference in Arusha, Tanzania.

The meeting focused on strengthening parliamentary cooperation and strategic relations between Somalia and Türkiye, including the exchange of legislative expertise, knowledge and institutional experience.

The two sides also underscored the importance of parliamentary diplomacy and closer coordination on shared interests and issues of mutual concern in international forums.
