Somalia, Türkiye Discuss Strengthening Strategic Partnership
ANKARA — Somalia and Türkiye have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening their longstanding strategic partnership during talks between Somalia’s State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ali Mohamed Omar and Türkiye’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Musa Kulaklıkaya.
The discussions focused on bilateral relations and regional developments, according to Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ali Mohamed Omar expressed Somalia’s appreciation for Türkiye’s continued support in areas including peace and security, state-building, infrastructure, education, and economic development.
The two sides highlighted the importance of continued cooperation based on mutual respect, trust, and a shared commitment to Somalia’s stability and development.
