Somalia, Türkiye Discuss Expanding Cooperation in Education

Istanbul, (SONNA) — The Minister of Education of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir, was received by Abdulhadi Turus, President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), and his team.

The meeting focused on areas of mutual interest between Somalia and Türkiye, including expanding cooperation in education.

During a week of engagements in Istanbul and Ankara, the Minister also held discussions with leading Turkish education institutions on collaboration and partnerships to support Somalia’s education priorities, strengthen skills development and expand opportunities for young people.
