Somalia Participates in Ministerial Meeting in Support of Jerusalem and its Holy Sites in Jordan

Amman (SONNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, on Wednesday participated in the opening of a ministerial meeting on Jerusalem hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in the capital, Amman.

The meeting brought together foreign ministers from Arab and Islamic countries to discuss the situation in Jerusalem and the Occupied Palestinian Territories, with the aim of coordinating a unified position on the issue.

On the sidelines of the meeting, Minister Abdisalam held bilateral consultations with a number of his counterparts, reaffirming Somalia’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and underscoring the Federal Government’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination among Arab and Islamic nations on matters of mutual concern.
