Somalia Participates in International Energy Forum in Riyadh

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Dahir Shire Mohamed, participated in the International Energy Forum (IEF) held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The forum provided an opportunity to strengthen international cooperation in the energy sector, exchange expertise and discuss the future of global energy markets.

Somalia continues to prioritize the development of its oil and gas resources, attracting international investment and strengthening strategic partnerships that support economic growth and the development of the country’s energy sector.

The Minister’s participation forms part of Somalia’s efforts to strengthen relations with international partners and institutions and promote investment and cooperation opportunities that benefit the country and its people.
