Somalia Opens Annual Health Sector Review

Mogadishu(SONNA)-Minister of Health and Social Care of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Dr. Ali Haji Adam, has opened the Somali Health Sector Coordination and Joint Annual Review (JAR) to assess progress and strengthen healthcare services nationwide.

The meeting brings together federal and state health officials, hospital directors and international partners to review ongoing projects, address challenges and advance the National Health Plan.

Participants will also explore ways to improve coordination and expand access to quality and equitable healthcare services across the country.

Dr. Ali emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Federal Government, federal member states and development partners in strengthening Somalia’s healthcare system and ensuring effective delivery of services.
