Somalia, OIC Discuss Cooperation as Regional Director Concludes Mission

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Mohamed Ali (Nadaara), received and bid farewell to Ambassador Mohamed Bamba M. Boba, Director General of the Regional Mission of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Somalia, at the Ministry’s headquarters.
The two officials discussed cooperation between the Federal Government of Somalia and the OIC, while reaffirming the Islamic ties and brotherhood that unite the organisation’s member states.
H.E. Hassan Mohamed Ali thanked Ambassador Bamba for his service and efforts in Somalia during his tenure in Mogadishu, and welcomed the contribution of the OIC Regional Mission to supporting Somalia’s development and addressing humanitarian priorities.
The Deputy Minister wished Ambassador Bamba success in his future responsibilities.
