Somalia, Libya Discuss Strengthening Economic and Financial Cooperation

Mogadishu, (SONNA) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Abdisalam Abdi Ali, held a meeting with Libya’s Minister of Finance, H.E. Rashid Abu Qaffah, in Tripoli to discuss strengthening economic and financial cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting focused on expanding bilateral economic relations, enhancing financial cooperation and supporting the development of Somalia’s financial institutions.

The two ministers also discussed increasing exports of Somali livestock to Libya and expanding market opportunities for Somali livestock in the Libyan market.
