Somalia, India Discuss Cooperation in Information and Culture

Nairobi, (SONNA) — The Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Abdifatah Qasim Mohamed, held a meeting with India's High Commissioner to Kenya and Ambassador to Somalia, Mr. Adarsh Swaika, in the city of Nairobi, Kenya.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between Somalia and India in the fields of information and culture, particularly the development and enhancement of staff skills, the transition to digital systems, and strengthening cooperation between arts and culture groups.

Minister Abdifatah Qasim thanked the Indian government for its support and cooperation with Somalia, especially efforts to develop national media, the cultural troupe, and enhance staff capacity.
