Somalia, Djibouti Presidents Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Security

Djibouti(SONNA)-President of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud held talks with Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh on Wednesday during a working visit to Djibouti, focusing on strengthening longstanding bilateral relations and cooperation.

The two leaders discussed ways to deepen cooperation between Somalia and Djibouti, with particular emphasis on security, economic and political cooperation, as well as peace, stability and security in the Horn of Africa.

The visit is part of President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s regional engagements aimed at strengthening Somalia’s relations and cooperation with neighboring countries, while advancing Somalia’s national interests and supporting regional stability.
