Somalia, Belgium discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — Somali Ambassador to Kenya, Amb. Jabril Ibrahim Abdulle received Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Belgium to Somalia, resident in Kenya, H.E. Tom Neijens, for a courtesy call focused on strengthening the longstanding bilateral relationship between Somalia and Belgium.

The meeting explored opportunities to further strengthen institutional ties and cooperation, particularly in the areas of security, governance and collaboration through the European Union.

Ambassador Jabril and Ambassador-Designate Tom Neijens underscored their commitment to working together on shared priorities and advancing mutually beneficial cooperation between Somalia and Belgium.
