Somalia, Algeria Discuss Strengthening Education Cooperation

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Minister of Education, Culture and Higher Education of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir, received Algeria’s Ambassador to Somalia, Dr. Mohamed Alim, at his office in Mogadishu.

The meeting focused on strengthening educational cooperation between the Federal Republic of Somalia and the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, particularly in the areas of education and higher education.

Minister Farah Sheikh Abdulkadir thanked the Algerian government for its support and strong relations with Somalia, stressing the importance of further expanding bilateral cooperation, particularly in education, which he described as a cornerstone of development and the future of both peoples.
