Somalia’s National Economic Council Chairman Arrives in Algeria for Economic Meetings

Algiers, (SONNA) — The Chairman of Somalia’s National Economic Council and Economic Adviser to the President, Dr. Hassan Adan Hoosow, arrived in Algiers on Sunday to participate in economic meetings and the opening of the third ordinary session of Algeria’s National Economic, Social and Environmental Council.

Dr. Hoosow was warmly received at Algiers International Airport by his Algerian counterpart, Prof. Mohamed Bukhari, and Somalia’s Ambassador to Algeria, H.E. Yusuf Ahmed Hassan (Yusuf Jeego).

The meetings and opening ceremony are scheduled to take place from September 29–30, 2026, in Algiers.
