Somali Parliament to Open Eighth Session on August 1

Mogadishu(SONNA)-The leadership of both Houses of the Federal Parliament of Somalia has announced that the Eighth Session of the 11th Federal Parliament will officially open on 1 August.

Members of the House of the People and the Upper House have been notified to attend the opening session as Parliament resumes its legislative work.

The upcoming session is expected to focus on key national priorities, including pending legislation before Parliament, electoral matters, security, and the country's overall political and governance situation.
