Somali Parliament Approves Two Members to Fill Vacant Independent Constitutional Review Commission Seats

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — Members of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament of Somalia have approved two nominees to fill vacant positions on the Independent Commission for the Review and Implementation of the Constitution.

A total of 124 Members of Parliament voted in favour of the nominees, while 21 voted against and two abstained.

The approval fills two vacant positions within the commission tasked with supporting the review and implementation of Somalia’s Constitution.
