Somali National Army Commander Inspects Wounded Soldiers at Mogadishu Hospital

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Commander of the Somali National Army, Brig. Gen. Ibrahim Mohamed Mohamud, has visited Rajab Tayib Erdoğan Hospital, formerly known as Digfeer Hospital, where some Somali National Army soldiers wounded during security operations are receiving medical treatment.

The Commander assessed the soldiers’ health conditions and the care being provided to them, while listening to their medical needs and concerns.

Brig. Gen. Ibrahim Mohamed Mohamud expressed solidarity and brotherhood with the wounded soldiers and prayed for their swift recovery.

During the visit, the Commander also visited children receiving treatment at the hospital and inquired about their health conditions from doctors and hospital management. He also expressed his support and encouragement to the children and their families.

The Commander further received a briefing from the hospital management, led by the Director General, on the medical services and care provided to patients and wounded soldiers.

The visit is part of the Somali National Army Command’s efforts to strengthen care and support for members of the armed forces and the Somali community.
