Somali Army Chief Inspects Maslah Military Base

Mogadishu(SONNA)–Somali National Army (SNA) Commander Maj. Gen. Ibrahim Mohamed Mahmoud on Sunday conducted an inspection visit to the Maslah Military Base in Mogadishu to assess operational readiness, ongoing activities, and the overall condition of the facility.

The visit focused on evaluating the base's operational capacity, identifying existing needs, and reviewing plans to enhance troop preparedness, improve performance, and strengthen operational efficiency.

Maj. Gen. Mahmoud was received by Col. Abdullahi Osman Jimcaal, Commander of the SNA's 73rd Military Police Battalion, who briefed him on the base's security situation, ongoing activities, and progress in carrying out military duties.

The inspection was attended by the Commander of the SNA Logistics Command, senior officials from the Army Headquarters, and other military officers.
