Somali Ambassador to Kenya receives US Deputy Ambassador

Nairobi, (SONNA) — Somalia’s Ambassador to Kenya, H.E. Jabriil Ibrahim Abdulle, received Ruth Anne Stevens Klitz, Deputy and Chargé d’Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Somalia, at the Somali Embassy in Nairobi.

The two officials discussed Somalia-U.S. bilateral relations and cooperation, with particular focus on the United States’ support for Somalia’s security efforts and counterterrorism operations against groups including Al-Shabaab.

The meeting also addressed shared interests and ways to further strengthen diplomatic cooperation and bilateral relations between Somalia and the United States.
