Second Day of National Multi-Hazard Early Warning System Meeting Underway in Mogadishu

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The second day of the inception meeting for Somalia's National Multi-Hazard Early Warning System (S-MHEWS) is underway in Mogadishu, bringing together representatives from Federal Government Ministries, SoDMA, and IGAD.

Discussions are focused on establishing a unified national early warning system to strengthen preparedness, coordination, and timely response to multiple hazards across Somalia.
