Prime Minister Hamza Meets OIC Delegation to Strengthen Cooperation

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, held a meeting with a delegation from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), led by the Director General of the OIC Mission in Somalia, Ambassador Mohamed Bamba M. Boba, to discuss strengthening cooperation and OIC support for Somalia.

The Prime Minister briefed the delegation on the overall situation in Somalia and progress made in security, state-building, political affairs and economic development, as well as the implementation of one-person, one-vote elections in several parts of the country.

PM Hamza thanked the OIC for its continued support and solidarity with Somalia, particularly its efforts to support state-building, peace and the country’s development.
