Prime Minister Hamza Departs for Qatar on Official Visit

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre departed Mogadishu on Wednesday for an official visit to Qatar following an invitation from the Qatari Government.

The visit is aimed at strengthening the strategic partnership between Somalia and Qatar, with discussions expected to focus on economic cooperation, investment and social development.

During his stay, Prime Minister Hamza is expected to hold meetings with senior Qatari officials as part of Somalia’s broader efforts to strengthen diplomatic and strategic cooperation with international partners.
