Prime Minister Hamza Arrives in Jowhar for Hirshabelle Leadership Inauguration

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre has arrived in Jowhar to attend the inauguration ceremony of Hirshabelle State’s leadership, where he is also expected to meet regional officials to discuss governance, development and security priorities.

During his visit, the Prime Minister is expected to receive briefings from Hirshabelle’s leadership on progress in expanding public services, implementing development projects, strengthening security in one of the country’s major cities, and improving cooperation between different levels of government.

Prime Minister Hamza also urged Hirshabelle’s leadership and other officials to accelerate reconciliation efforts and address outstanding grievances as part of broader efforts to strengthen stability and unity in the state.
