Prime Minister Hamza Arrives in Balanballe for Reconciliation Ceremony

Balanballe, (SONNA) — A delegation led by the Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, today arrived in Balanballe District in the Galgaduud region, where they were welcomed at the airport by the leader of the Galmudug regional state, Mr. Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qoor Qoor, the Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), Mr. Mahad Mohamed Salad, Galmudug leadership candidate Mr. Liibaan Ahmed Hassan, other officials, and various segments of the community.

The Prime Minister is in Balanballe for the finalization ceremony of the reconciliation agreement between the brotherly clans of Balanballe and Guriceel, and the foundation stone for the Peace House in Balanballe District will be laid in the town.

The welcoming ceremony reflects the peace that has taken hold in the area and how the people of Balanballe value the reconciliation that has been achieved.

The Prime Minister is accompanied on the trip by members of the Council of Ministers and government officials.
