Prime Minister Hamza Appoints Director Generals to Two Federal Ministries

Mogadishu, (SONNA) — The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, has appointed Directors General to two federal ministries to accelerate ongoing government work.

The appointments were made pursuant to Article 119, Paragraph (D) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

The appointed Directors General are:

1. Abdullahi Ibrahim Abdi — Director General of the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources.

2. Ahmed Yusuf Abdulle — Director General of the Ministry of Communications and Technology.

H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre urged the newly appointed officials to perform their duties effectively and accelerate the implementation of the mandates entrusted to their respective ministries.
