President Hassan Sheikh Visits Vocational Training School in Gaalkacyo

Gaalkacyo, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud visited Prof. Addow Vocational Training School in Gaalkacyo.

President Hassan Sheikh received a briefing from the school’s administration and toured classrooms, training facilities, administrative offices, residential facilities and other sections of the centre, where students are trained in skills including electricity, building construction, computer studies and vehicle mechanics.

The President commended the Galmudug State leadership for prioritizing the implementation of projects that benefit communities, particularly initiatives aimed at advancing vocational education and developing young people’s skills.

President Hassan noted that investment in such centres plays an important role in reducing unemployment by providing young people with knowledge and practical skills that enable them to secure employment and create new job opportunities.
