President Hassan Sheikh Visits Ethiopia for Official Talks

ADDIS ABABA, (SONNA) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, paid a one-day working visit to Addis Ababa, where he held a meeting with Ethiopian Prime Minister H.E. Abiy Ahmed.

The meeting focused on strengthening the longstanding relations between Somalia and Ethiopia and discussing the security and political situation in the region.

The two leaders also highlighted the importance of strengthening regional cooperation to safeguard peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.
